This month, we are organizing several workshops for the parents of our Junior Rangers as well as for community members in Maun. Our goal is to raise awareness among adults about reducing waste and to encourage them to actively support the children in their environmental projects.

A total of seven workshops will be held for 140 participants from the neighborhood, along with two workshops for 70–80 parents.

Our trainers, Kumo and Christinah, are leading the events, which have generated a lot of interest and are well attended. Sarah McSmith and her team of three are providing refreshments during the breaks: they’re preparing delicious snacks for the participants right on site.

We’re very pleased with the active participation of the adults. After all, only by working together can we get a little closer to our goal of a green and healthy Maun!
