Last Saturday, the entire Junior Ranger team of teachers and trainers gathered to work together to clear trash from the banks of the Thamalakane River.

Guided by this year’s Earth Day theme, “Our Planet, Our Power,” everyone rolled up their sleeves and spent the entire day collecting plastic waste along the riverbank. 

Normally, these cleanup efforts are led by our Junior Rangers. But on this day, it became clear to all the adults: Change requires people who are willing to roll up their sleeves, take action, and set a good example by taking responsibility for all wildlife and the environment. 

Such initiatives raise awareness about how we handle plastic and waste and show that we can achieve a lot by joining forces! 

Together, our Junior Rangers, along with their trainers and teachers, are committed to a green, clean, and sustainable Maun!
