The Junior Ranger program in Khwai, a village in northwestern Botswana, already has 60 participants!
The children and young people from the primary school were recently visited by Theda Countess Knyphausen and a few of her Consafarity guests during a short stopover. The young rangers are very committed and showed the visitors with great enthusiasm what they have already learned about environmental protection and biodiversity.
The Junior Ranger Program in Khwai is financially supported by the African Bush Camp Foundation.
We are happy that the program is now also being implemented regularly outside of Maun and hope that other schools in Botswana will become part of the environmental protection project.
